Jeannie Epper (born 1941) is an American stuntwoman and actress. She has performed stunts in over 100 feature films and television series and is perhaps best known as Lynda Carter's double on the Wonder Woman series. She was featured in Amanda Micheli's 2004 documentary Double Dare, along with New Zealand stuntwoman and actress Zoë Bell. Entertainment Weekly noted that many consider her "the greatest stuntwoman who's ever lived."[1]
Her family traces its lineage back to "a colonel in Napoleon's army" and his great-grandson, a multi-lingual Swiss who eventually lived in California where he began the family tradition in stunt work.[2]
Part of a major stunt family in Hollywood, she is the daughter of John Epper, and the sister of Gary Epper, Tony Epper and Andy Epper.
